What cookies do I use?
This site is intentionally minimal and avoids unnecessary tracking. I use a single type of optional data storage:
Location/Timezone Lookup (Non-Essential)
What: When you visit the home page, an optional feature shows "Your time" based on your timezone. To provide this, the site can fetch your timezone and approximate location (city, country) from IP-based APIs (ipwho.is and ipinfo.io).
Why: This enriches the "Your time" display so it shows something like "Your time (New York, US)" instead of just a timezone code. It's purely a UX enhancement.
Your IP is:
- Sent solely to determine timezone and city/country.
- Not stored by this site.
- Subject to the privacy policies of
ipwho.isandipinfo.iorespectively.
If you reject: The "Your time" display will still work, but it will show your computer's local timezone without any location enrichment.
Session Storage (Essential)
What: The site uses browser session storage to skip the page loader on subsequent internal page navigation within the same browsing session.
Why: The animated loader is only meant to show once. Using session storage avoids replaying it every time you click a link within the site.
Your choice: This is necessary for the site to feel responsive and is always enabled.
Your Preference
I respect your choice. Below, you can view and change your cookie consent settings:
Your choice is stored locally in your browser and never leaves your device. You can change it anytime by returning to this page.
